^^ i got motif VST's korg VST's etc. not stuff you can download... i do have some stuff downloaded... they arent bad at all
cant start a business without spending some cash for some decent stuff... downloadable ones..again.. arent bad... but they are what they are... downloadable... for a reason
I'm sorry, but that doesn't make any sense at all. Software is software, it doesn't matter how you got it. It doesn't matter if I bought FL Studio from a store like Guitar Center or downloaded FL Studio from their official website. It's the same information, just one comes on a CD and the other is a downloaded file. Sounds like your trying to say that non-downloadable plugins are somehow better because you have to go out and physically purchase them in the form of a boxed product. That ain't true at all. It's all the same data, only distributed in a different way. The only software I can think of that hardly ever gets cracked is Dongle protected software, but that's another story. Same with plugins that need DSP cards like UA, but again that's a totally different thing. Well in that case of Dongle protection, then YES, your better off actually buying the software because most often than not, it ain't cracked.
Most cracked plugins don't fuck with the code either, it only fucks with the registration part of it, so your getting the exact same shit as if you bought, only difference is it's registered in the form of whichever hacker group cracked it, AiR, BEAT, AMPLiFY, DYNAMICS,... whoever the fuck. Some do come with keygens, so that's 100% legit as well since your making your own license, so the code itself ain't tampered with.
BTW, I have those Korg VSTs, and they are infact downloadable. Not sure what those Motif VSTs are though. Only Motif vsts I can think of are the editors so you can make your patches,etc... for the hardware and use it as a VST instrument. But I would assume you'll need the hardware to go along with it. Unless it's some sort of multi-sampled library your talking about.
