WHO KNOWS THE BEST WAY TO GET A QUALITY RECORDING OVER THE PHONE?

WE ON SOME X-RAIDED SHIT FOR A HOMIE WHO IS A COMEDIAN AND WHO IS IN THE PEN BUT WANTS TO GET SOME OF HIS ROUTINE RECORDED... TO GET TO SOME FOLKS INTERESTED IN FUCKING WITH HIM WHEN HE GETS OUT.

my guess use a phone answering software. You can hook the phone line to your comp, but only if you have a phone modem, then pick the line up on the comp and hit record, or send him to voicemail.

also Skype does voice over ip which uses your internet line, but you need to pay for a # and the software.

yeah, your best bet is just using a landline phone and having that recording shit. they at radio shack for like 10 bucks or someshit and it has a 1/8th" output like for headphones that you can route into a computer or other recording device with a small cable
