record stores!??

where is a good record store to swoop up new stuff in sac? do i have to drive over an hour for rasputin's, Dimples is gone but there is no record store as deep as dimples

i have been there and they have no current cds, just records and random used stuff, i want to just day of release walk into the record store and buy the latest release, i tried preordering the new snoop album and it arrived like 2 weeks late from mail ordering it, and they sold me a cdr copy of mt westmore. this new day of age when alot of stuff is digital, its so easy to have your own bandcamp

Did you try The Audio Nerd in Rocklin? I don't follow like any current shit sorry man but I'm just throwing out stores I know out there that I've bought good stuff from before.

i have been there once but its all used stuff still, i need a store that has new cds!! that is where most of the bay area underground stuff is released
