Hey folks, going to be making a lil trip to the so cal area at the end of the month and was looking for some record stores or cd stores that carry more used stuff, Im going to be in the anaheim area doing the dinnyland thing and then heading towards the water. Already have it in mind to hit up VIP in LB but other than that dont really know.....any recommendations? thanks...

just in case it matters looking for bay stuff of course but also some so cal shit and non rap shit like jazz and soul type stuff....

thas wassup...def. familiar with amoeba be looking for that...thanks for the tip...anything in the anaheim area or long beach area im basically heading north after anaheim...?

we dont have many independent moms and pops stores remaining down here :( VIP in long beach is alright, they are bound to have a few local stuff but just going there for the experience is alright

Amoeba is no doubt your best bet, they got a gang of bay stuff and underground stuff and your bound to find a gem in there


the local FYE's are cool too, they got plenty of used stuff but more mainstream

i was kinda thinkin VIP is going to be more to say that ive been there....im gonna def. try to make it to amoeba...sux about the moms n pops but its the same thing over here...rasputains and amoeba is the tickets

make sure u hit compton up homie 91 w exit long beach blvd turn right which would be north go down about 4 miles look on your right hand side for the compton fashion center (compton swat meet) hit up the record shop hit the spot they keep it underground in there ..peace

If you do the Zoo thang definitely hit up Kali Connect. I made another hour and a half trip there on Friday and picked up even more Diego stuff. They got plenty of it
and on top of it everything especially the CD's are a bargain believe especially at the rate cd's sell these days
