ive been getting into modest mouse alot lately, specifically "this is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about" and "moon and antartica"

can anyone suggest more music to me, that is similar to this?

Modest Mouse is pretty much in their own genre. That's the problem with really good distinct sounding bands, you want more of the same but there really isn't because that's what seperates them from the rest of the pack.

If I can think of anything semi-related I'll post it up.

Maybe try Minus the Bear.

and they never stick with a sound, lol, ever cd sounds almost like a different band, so i just got these 2 with that kinda dark sound with long instrumentals

Who the fuck is Small Leaks Sink Ships? Never heard of them, link it RJ or you're a bitch.

I back all of RJ's recommendations except for Cold War Kids (meh) and Small Leaks Sink Ships (but just because I haven't heard them.)

If you want to hear some out there type of music (which Modest Mouse does sometimes) check out Man Man, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Animal Collective, O'Death, Panda Bear, Murder By Death.
