reason 3 audio problem/help

make sure the first thing you create is a 14:2 mixer, everything should be connected to that and that mixer will connect to reason's audio out output thing (that thing at the top with all the other inputs)
unless you have a good interface with many outputs or you want to rewire it to pro tools, cubase, etc... and want to control effects on each sound from reason then you should only connect a mixer to the 1 & 2 channels of the "audio out" thing
so say you have a redrum, nnxt, & a subtractor, you would plug those into seperate channels of the 14:2 mixer and have the output of that mixer going into the 1 & 2 of the audio out
(hit tab to figure out where the cables are connected)

don't feel like an idiot. reason is hard, but its hella raw. I've been fucking with it for a long ass time and usually people do the same thing when they first start, I know I did!

about the refills not working, I've had a couple do that to me before...sometimes it seemed like the download application (like the browser or limewire) was changing the refills into plain text format....I'd say make sure your copy of reason is up to date (if you can) and make sure the refill extension is ".rfl" but I have downloaded some that just don't work.
if you get a chance, download the Rb-338 refill, its hella drum sounds from Rebirth, the drum machine that came out before Reason

your refils might not work because you dont have an uncompressor like win rar to open them up, thats usually the biggest problem with stuff like that. If its reason refils the sounds might not work if you dont have 3.04 upgrade installed. if you have a legit copy or at least a legit serial you can dl it for free on their website.
