a friend of mine is gonna give me a copy of this program, ive seen him fuckin with it an i get the hang of it but i got a question....can you fuck with it without a midi??? i mean like on FL's you can use the keyboard an shit....i had to sell my midi to get more money to get the XXL FL :dead: so thats why i ask...thanks in advance..

no you cant...well you can but its kinda hard and stupid...i think its in the matrix..or you could use the redrum to create a beat by making the drum pattern and then makin the melody by tweaking the instrument levels..but its much better to just cop a midi..

Actually, some people excel at that step-sequencer shit and are able to put together complicated parts and patterns that they otherwise couldn't play in real-time, even with the aid of quantization (I am not one of those people).

I think that type of sequencing is used more heavily in other electronic genres other than hip-hop.

So it's not worthless, but pretty much is if you don't know how to freak it..
