no vocal recording, but its made to run side by side with sonar or cubase as if it were a sound module. as far as i know there isnt midi output but its always accepted midi input. i used to use reason 1.0 as a sound module sequencing with a yamaha rm1x and it was hella nice until i made the mistake of selling it. there are a couple new features to the sequencer which are nice. like a fucking eraser (why was this missed the first time around). i havent fucked with the line tool so i dont really know what it does but theres a zoom in button to. nothing major.

OK here's a question for y'all...Until recently I had been pimpin an ASR-10 for 6 years...I now have a Triton and a JV-1080 as well...What does Reason do and how can it benefit me with these other instruments? Can someone enlighten me on this?

Thanks!

DJ Mark 7 - If you added Reason to your setup, it would more or less be an addon, sort of like how you use your module. Though you can sequence in Reason and automate all the modules within Reason, you can not send MIDI data out IN reason. You'll have to use a software sequencer that uses Rewire, such as Cubase, Logic, or Sonar. Now I believe that you can MIDI Sync Reason to your gear, so if you're sequencing on your Triton, you can hit play and still sequence your triton and roland in your triton, and sequence the Reason data within Reason. There's a number of things you can do with Reason.

You should try hitting up www.propellerheads.se and downloading a demo of Reason 2.0. Play around with it. Oh yeah, remember to hit the TAB key when messing with Reason, so you can flip the modules around and rewire them.
