REAR-END CAR ACCIDENT LAWS/INFO

SO I GOT IN A LIL ACCIDENT A FEW WEEKS AGO ON 680N. LONG STORY SHORT, A GUY SLAMMED HIS BRAKES ON, THE GIRL IN FRON TOF ME SLAMMED HER BRAKES, AND I COULDNT STOP FAST ENOUGH AND BARELY NUDGED HER. THERE IS ZERO DAMAGE TO MY CAR WHATSOEVER, THATS HOW SOFT I HIT HER...MY INSURANCE WAS EXPIRED, AND I HAVE A FEELING SO WAS HERS LOL.

THE GIRLS DAD SAID HE WOULD BE COO WITH US (HES FAKIN LIKE THEY HAVE INSURANCE) AND NOT REPORT IT TO INSURANCE. NOW HES TRYNA CLAIM IT NEEDS A WHOLE NEW BUMPER AND SHIT. I THINK IT NEEDS A PAINT TOUCH UP. HE SAYS ITS $800, AND I DONT HAVE $800.

MY QUESTION IS, WHAT HAPPENS IF NEITHER OF US HAVE INSURANCE? THERE WERE NO WITNESSES, AND NO EVIDENCE. MY CAR HAS NO DAMAGE... CAN THEY TAKE ME TO COURT, OR WHAT?

very true. however, if this gentelman does have insurance and files a claim, and if he has collision, he pay his deductible, go thru his ins. then the inssurance company will go after you for his deductible and damages to the car. this process is called subrogation...
you are in a situation my friend. so its a gamble.
however dude can still sue, a police report just makes his case more legit.

california law states if damage exceeds $750 he can report it to the DMV. however that would be a foolish move if he has no insurance. or he can be like nino brown and you guys can take the fall together lol
