From living in ATLANTA for about 20 months and see how the city (fans & radio 107.9) SUPPORT THEY HOMEGROWN ARTISTS, I understand why this is the hot spot for rap right now. Yall CALI cats couldn't possibly understand the true meaning of support cuz no one has blown up yet. The south came up by taking the rap game by force when the majors was keeping them out. LOCAL SUPPORT forced the major labels to give LUDACRIS, OUTKAST, BONECRUSHER, TI, etc...exposure. In the BAY AREA, yall don't want yall artists to get a mainstream deal cuz then yall will call them sellouts!!! THAT'S A FACT!!! Yall want yall artists to stay "underground". INDEPENDENT LABELS even f*ck over their artists so it ain't all about being indy. It's about exposure and unity to keep a chain reaction going and get that scrilla....
