im bidding opn one on ebay, have cingular svc, phone says its only good for at&t wireless but has cingular in the item title...

Isnt cingular the former at&t wireless so the phone should be compatible right????


ends in 2 hours....

ehhhh may not work!

I was an att cust before buy out and when I wanted a new phone I had to get a whole new sim card as well because it was a cingular phone and the att card was not compatible.

Bass says it works but I am just saying what I was told when I wanted to do it too.

let me know if you get it and how it works.

talked to cingular they said it might not work, if it doesnt have a sim chip...the description doesnt says if it does or doesnt have a sim chip....
i dont know what to do and the shit end in under 2 hours...

When I got my new phone they set me up like a new customer even thoough I was an att cust...maybe since it was so close to the migration I don't know.

I am AT&T... and yes Cingular bought out AT&T and supposedly there was no penalties for switchin' over but I have yet to change over to Cing because they refuse to honor the mins I currently have.... there are different phones that work on the GSM system- AT&T had both..
Now you hear in the news that AT&T has bought out Cingular... so here we go again.... I'ma wait before switchin' shit...

yeah, razr came out way too late to be tdma....I still have at&t, which is coo cuz my sim card will work on all cingular phones....but when a cingular sim card goes into my phone it has to be unlocked...and you can find it for cheaper than $25....there's actually web sites that'll walk you thru it
