For those who missed the re-airing of Billy Jam’s 1992 interview with Mac Dre that I told you about a couple weeks ago, here’s the audio. Props to my old friend Billy for letting me put this up. Note that this interview took place over the phone while Dre was in Fresno County Jail prior to his conviction and originally aired on Billy’s KPFA show. It’s short, but a great piece of Bay Area hip hop history. Billy also played some of Dre’s classics from back then after the interview so I left those in this audio.
