I think someone should organize a thing where rappers go to highschools and middle schools to talk to the kids...
tell them to stay in school and all that good stuff, let them really know what happens when you're in the life...

if you understand what i'm saying...let's get this rolling...

i don't want to speak, but i'm willing to put money behind this if needed

good idea but it would have to be rappers that actually send positive messages through their music. if you get a cat who got a 9th grade education that talks about guns and bitches constantly it wouldn't be too good for the kids...

What a coincidence.. my lil brother just told me recently that Guce and the KOG was at his school Thurgood Marshall High in the city tryna perform and passing out CDs.. the sound equipment was faulty and they got mad, so they threw CDs at the kids, haha..
no positive message there.

Hollar at your boy man. I'm not an active rapper anymore, and I've retired my illegal schemes...but my resume in that game & the hustle game is still longer then most.

Not that I disagree with the idea of havin rappers spit game to little kids at school and stuff.

But if these rappers really wanna educate the youth then they need to start with their music.
It's a mouthpiece, kids soak that shit like nothing else.
It is through the microphone that you get your message accross....

However, I'm down to talk to these kids....

what we need to do is send in some washed up rappers that never really made it into them schools and tell them about how they shouldn't think about just becoming a rapper, and get they education on and get a real fuckin job and not think they finna get a recond deal soon as they graduate and just blow up and go platinum....

any one know of any we could contact to set this up.....

No it's a good idea to throw his as in a classroom and tell little kids how a fast life style almost made him homeless.

He can be a very good example of how successful you might be in the game one day, but can be the brokest mutha the next day....
