Some of yall may have or may not have heard Kennedy High School in Richmond is gonna close down this next year. Messed up thing that is gonna get worse with kids getting shipped to De Anza,Richmond High,and El Cerrito High(over flow of kids) got a meeting with the mayor to help out we throwing a show at either Kennedy High or The Richmond Civic Center looking at March gonna have a crazy as line up as well as help from Demarco Farr (ex-Rams star) and others you will be hearing more about this soon gonna be huge also doing the same thing for the SouthBay Schools that are losing there sports programs.

Damn man that is just adding to Richmond's problem. Oakland Unified School District is one of the worse in the country lets hope Richmond don't follow the path we on.

the San Francisco public schools also have a history of being sub-par, so its pretty much a problem across the whole bay area. Its probably not gonna get better anytime soon either because of the huge budget deficit the state has right now.

yeah education is just not a priority...Obama can't really do anything about education because it's a state ran institution. Education isn't in the Federal budget...Shit it's barley in the States budget. California is on the verge of bankruptcy. Education just ain't on the people's minds right now. Sad.

The saddest part is that once the Rich is fully gentrified, the new community will DEMAND a local HS, and THEY WILL GET IT.

That's why I go hard on this whole Stay In School movement im from The West Conta Costa School District,back then the Richmond Unified School District I made it out had every odd stacked against me,but I made it. When I was in school they were trying to shut Richmond High down. The way I look at it these kids need people(artists)to tell them that they care about them and want them to do well. Im all in on this one,I got a gang of artists supporting the movment so we will see what happens.
