Singe, who made the cover of Grow America when he was photographed kneeling next to a cannabis plant in Baghdad, dropped by the HIGH TIMES offices to talk about pot, music and what it's really like to be a soldier on the ground in Iraq.

Good shit...I wish I came across a plant out here, lol. Baghdad is pretty safe compared to other area's me and my company have operated in, after the initial surge into Baghdad most insurgents left to the surrounding cities. The Iraqi Army sucks, and so do the Iraqi Police. I've seen them shoot each other on accident at point blank range. As long as the Iraqi Security Forces suck, they will never be able to control there own country with out help.

Nothing. They did find out back when he made the cover, the president even got a copy sent to him along w/ all of congress. Unfortunately it was the same time as the Abu Ghraib incident happened and that took center stage. He was pulled aside by his higher ups as well as his commander, but his commander had nothing but good things to say about him and his work ethics in the military. So they let it go. He didnt and doesnt smoke while serving overseas. only when a civilian back home does he smoke.

His 3rd tour is almost done.
