i think the dvd makes more sense when you step back and look at it from a third person view. like even the sound issues and the rawness and ack of editing lets you know its a city on the grind to make it happen....i remember me los junk and sync went to videotape lil cs, mooch massive and macvillin and they did this song in like two takes while we were filming, that ended up being on that mob kingz album, so it was like a lil piece in time if you get me if you fast forward it to rap or die to say it has hella great editing or what not right? niggas are gonna say the first one was the tightest cuz it was raw and yada yada...or cuz its rare and hard to find...sometimes and i think the rap or die crew prolly learned this shit you jsut gotta make it happen and not go back and forth over what is or isnt a good move..
it came out, niggas seen it, niggas heard of people on the dvd..imagine you being on that dvd freestyling and people hitting you up about your shit like 'yeah i seen you on rap or die that was tight blah blah'..that might make you wanna drop your shit cuz you got a lil exposure to capitalize on.
that was the point, it was a good look for SD and it helped continue spearheading the movement forward, fuck a sound check
but i DO think thats valid
it was crazy how many younger kids had seen the dvd at the time it came out, i got hit up quite a few times
