WWE: Randy Orton suspended by World Wrestling Entertainment
Wrestlemag.com @ 4:54 pm
WWE this afternoon issued a statement via their mobile news service that they have suspended Randy Orton for 60 days, citing “unprofessional conduct” as the reason for the suspension.

We’ve no further details at time of writing, but with Orton having been scheduled to take on Rey Mysterio in the main event of tonight’s Smackdown! TV tapings for Mysterio’s newly won World Heavyweight title, it’s going to be interesting to see how this one develops.

Also Tyson Tomko requested his release to which WWE granted today.

Orton is one of the top guys in the WWE, I'd figure hed have to do something pretty damn bad to get suspended. Being a groper would fall under that catigory, not like vince would give a fuck but he ain't getting sued for Ortons sake.

LATEST WRESTLING NEWS FROM WRESTLEMAG:

WWE: More on Randy Orton’s suspension and why he worked last night’s TV tapings
Wrestlemag.com @ 4:44 pm
From what we can gather, Randy Orton will continue to work his regular Smackdown! schedule for the remainder of this week, working the weekend’s house shows as well as next Tuesday’s Smackdown! TV tapings.

If you’ve read our report from yesterday (click here if you’ve not read it), you’ll already be aware that WWE slapped a sixty day suspension on Orton for “unprofessional conduct".

As we understand it, the plan at time of writing is for Orton to lose at next Tuesday’s TV tapings (to keep things “spoiler free” for those who are yet to read our spoilers from last night’s Smackdown! TV tapings, click here), with his suspension coming into play immediately after next Tuesday’s tapings.

To reply to those who have emailed us regarding the suspension, the situation is not linked to recent drugs tests conducted as part of WWE’s ‘Talent Wellness’ program that was introduced several weeks ago as previously reported here at WrestleMag.

Also:
Some more information on the Randy Orton situation has come out. First of all, it has nothing to do with the baseline drug testing that was recently administered. Apparently Orton has been having issues since January, when Kurt Angle was brought to Smackdown. There have been a number of disciplinary problems since then that have been kept inside the company. During the WrestleMania weekend, he flagrantly defied the dress code. All of these issues have been building, causing a lot of heat with the locker room. It looks like this all came to a climax and WWE felt that they had no choice but to discipline him.

Randy is probably just "suspended" so he can take a break from wrestling, cycle on some juice and come back for Summerslam a mean 275 and snatch the belt from anyone who may have it at the time

Randy Orton responds to being suspended

Randy Orton responds to being suspended

Prior to SmackDown this past Tuesday, Randy Orton was told that he was being suspended for 60 days due to unprofessional conduct. WWE.com recently caught up with Orton to get his reaction to his suspension. Here is what he had to say:

“WWE has certain standards of conduct they expect out of all the Superstars on both RAW and SmackDown. Unfortunately, I violated those standards and was not representing WWE the way I should have been. Basically, my conduct was unbecoming of a champion, which is what I will be again when I return.”

Orton fucked off his chance of being champ by being such a dipshit backstage. They were going to give him the belt a while back, but he blew his chance again, and they brought Kurt Angle over from Raw and handed him the belt instead.

The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Randy Orton has been fined by WWE multiple times for using the “C-word” to insult women behind the scenes in WWE, however has not taken it seriously. His attitude towards WWE’s rules and punishment is said to be what got him suspended this time.

"He's lucky he didn't get fired. He has a lot of growing up to do. It was just stupid - disrespectful to the boys and the company." Says one WWE source about his latest incident. "Undertaker despises him, and Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and even Triple H have grown tired of his act. They barely tolerate him."

Orton’s disrespectful treatment of women is said to be what has turned most people backstage against him. As previously reported, he is the most disliked person in the locker room right now.
