i'm glad too, it's funny all the critics say that wwe is going to ruin the new ecw and that ecw is going to fail, but i don't think so how about you guys?

The card they have 4 one night stand looks really solid, beats the hell outta a smackdown PPV at least. ECW just needs more stars on their roster. If they pay more than TNA i think alot of those guys will jump ship with hopes of landing a WWE contract.

Orton and Angle is gonna be great-Still think Angle will take it
Cena and RVD will be a good one- Cena will retain
Rey and Sabu will be a real fast pased entertaining match- Im rooting for Sabu
I dunno about Foley&Edge/Dreamer and Funk-Terry Funk is WAAAY past his prime-Edge and Foley should take this one
I think Tazz and The King might be tight, Tazz was nasty in his day- I see Tazz choking King out

I'm wondering if Randy is back on Raw now or are they just whooping up the ECW PPV?? I think its just more evidence that they are gonna reunite the wrestlers from both shows

I don't see them putting Orton in ECW, Hes definatly a sports entertainer and not a hard core action kind of guy.

ECW isn't just hardcore action, though, but I don't see them putting Orton on ECW if they do, it'll be really gay.

I think the PPV is turning out sort of gay.. Way too much WWE guys that never had anything to do with ECW involved so far...

^this is just my opinion but I don't think most of the ECW stars they have can get the PPV numbers that Vince wants. I'm not very familiar with every body affialiated with them but I'm sure most of the really talanted guys made their home with TNA and are gonna probably wait this ECW thing out and see if it takes off.

wasn't Abyss and Justin Credible former ECW guys? Who else in TNA is a former ECW guy?

On the subject of Randy Orton hes proably gonna stay in the WWE and get a real big push real soon. If they are smart they will put him back on Raw where he belongs, hes my favorite wrestler and to me his talent is wasted on Smackdown.

Abyss was never in ECW, but you're right Justin Credible was(That's actually where the Justin Credible character came from). Rhyno, Raven, all 3 of the Dudleys(Team 3D), Konnan, and Simon Diamond are the other TNA wrestlers that were in ECW. The ECW guys drew HUGE PPV numbers last year. That's why they're bringing it back full time, because they figured out ECW still sells.

Randy Orton will be back on Smackdown. They've been setting up his feud with Batista since they were in Evolution together. But we really don't know what's going to happen with RAW/Smackdown/ECW at all right now. It's just speculation. Vince has been known to throw curveballs, like having Randy Orton show up early from his suspension on RAW, so we'll have to see what happens after the ONS PPV and RAW the following night.

ECW drew more than any Smackdown PPV last year....

Justin Credible isn't in TNA anymore, and there's a good chance he'll still be in ECW... Rhyno could be coming in July to ECW, since that's when his TNA contract runs out...

But, man, I was looking forward to this PPV more before they turned it into a WWE v. ECW PPV.. They probably won't even let the guys work an ECW style..

Ecw needs more talent or TNA will squash them. WWE shoulda kept AJ Styles and should make a gutsy move and try to get Teddy Hart in ECW

Ask and you shall receive.

In a bit of a late breaking development, Justin Credible has signed on with WWE for the new ECW brand. As a matter of fact, the day his no-compete clause with the MTV project expired is the same day he signed his contract with WWE. Credible is scheduled to be at tonight's ECW vs. WWE special on the USA Network.

Credible makes his return to a WWE-owned brand for the first time in over three years. He was released in early 2003 after falling by the wayside on the RAW brand. During a period of his time away from the mainstream scene, Credible reportedly worked at a Target department store.

Gangrel just signed on for ECW too. Looks like the vampires will be coming back.

I agree, ECW is going to need new talent for them to succeed. Teddy Hart would be nice, but he just resigned with the MTV promotion, and the WWE hates him because he's an egomaniac..

Christopher Daniels would be a great fit for ECW, but you can't really pull them out of TNA since they have contracts with the company that say they can't be on WWE TV.

People from TNA I'd like to see in ECW though:

Old-schoolers like:
Raven
Rhyno
Bubba
D-Von
Douglas...

And some new talent like:
Daniels
Low-Ki/Senshi as he's called now
AJ
Alex Shelley
Killings
Pretty much the whole X-Division, actually
Joe
Homicide

But TNA talent will be hard to get since they have clauses in there contract that say they can't go to WWE while on contract.. But Homicide is a big possibility for ECW and so is Rhino..

WWE guys I'd like to see in ECW:
CM Punk
Charlie Haas
And a lot of guys who are underutilized in WWE, but could become great stars some day.

BUT Justin Credible being on the show tonight has got me really fucking excited about the show tonight... He was the best in ECW.

It'd be nice if they could get Corino back, but I don't think he wants to be part of the rebirth..

Some indy guys like Jack Evans, SATs, Briscoes, and people like that would be nice too.

I think they should put Trevor Murdoch in ECW, I can see that guy in a hard core environment. He Reminds me of a young Stan Hanson

Yeah, since Sci-Fi wanted some Sci-Fi elements involved in ECW, Vampires are a lot better than aliens..

And Gangrel is a good fit, and he has a good look, haven't seen him in a few years though..

Was he ever in ECW as Vampire Warrior? I think he was... Not positive though...
