in my opinion hes trying to get paid. he and the pats both know hes not getting the money so he forced their hand. the dude tore up a guaranteed 21 million dollar contract and renegotiated it to a 3 million dollar deal, + incentives, just to play for a winner in new england. he feels like he should be rewarded for his continued production but new england plays it cheap. notice when they started letting the good ones go they stopped winning super bowls??? if rice comes back this year they will be close to unstoppable on offense. rice is a poor mans moss.
