does the actual plastic case make ANY difference to you? i mean like..if the case got cracked..and you replaced it..does that change the value to you for it? Or do you really need the original casing? I know it might be the most stupid question yall have seen in a while here, but lately ive been going around to second hand cd stores and pawn shops buying a gang of shit...thing is 90% of them are filthy..feel like im gonna get a disease keeping that case around...

99% I don't care about the case at all. Unless they are unusual - like G.U.N., first Lil Wyno or first Never.

If it's a regular case I don't care if it ain't the one that actually came with the CD. If that was important it wouldn't be possible to switch tray card when you got broken tabs. Unless it's a special case I don't mind exchanging it.
Also, buying CDs in a second hand store, how can you be sure that the CD you got there has the original case? That filthy dusty broken case might have been exchanged once or twice before...

nah man I could care less, and i'll switch some out if I buy em used and they got a bunch of nasty stickers that won't come off i'll throw in a new case......but if it's a blue case for the crips cd then i'd want the OG case but other than that I could care less

if your going to swap the case atleast try and put it in one that was the same. dont use a different color one or weird looking one cuz then it looks like its really been tampered with. i personally dont care aslong as the cd and artwork isnt damaged , but this is what i would do.
