Raiders look for 3rd Rounder for Moss

Randy Moss probably won't play another game with the Oakland Raiders. The latest reports have Moss getting into a verbal fight with new head coach Lane Kiffin.

Its rumored that the Raiders are looking for a 3rd rounder and a veteran receiver for Moss.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre has asked the team to consider acquiring Moss.

If a Moss to Green Bay trade becomes a reality it could shake up the first round. The Raiders would give more consideration to selecting Calvin Johnson with the first pick and the Packers would be unlikely to draft a receiver high with Moss, Donald Driver, and Greg Jennings leading their receiving corp.

Haha, the raiders have gotten screwed by moss, send him to san fran......it would also be tight to see favre-moss combo

Also, that'd be ridiculous of oakland to draft a reciever with their first pick. They have no quarterback, and IMO quarterbacks and running backs, especially quarterbacks, have the most impact when an offense and offensive line is bad.

I agree with you and that's what I am hoping for (Raiders drafting Russell). I think Russell would have more of an impact than Johnson. Defenses could roll their coverage towards Johnson or just double his ass. Russell would be the better pick.

Randy Moss doesn't have the heart to go up and grab Favre's bullets. Favre doesn't know what he's asking for. Hopefully the trade will fall through so we can get some cap room and get rid of Moss because he's a busta.

fuck a reciever, we need some proven o-linemen.....trade moss to someone with a good line and take a couple of their o-line players & a draft pick, we can draft a wr in the 3rd or 4th round cuz we don't need one as bad.....

Good linemen are hard to come by.

What makes you think some team is gonna trade a couple of them...plus a draft pick that could be used to replace them...for a troubled WR?

Not gonna happen.

VY passes a lot more then he runs.....and passes first......but i dont hate on his skills with his feet.....dude just CLOWNS defenders in the open fields......ask the giants,bills,texans,colts....

the real reason why he wont be back is because he is not good enough to be a number 1 reciever....... point blank thats the reason.....they are just suger coating it with other shit.........

the only time he was really a problem was when he got a arrested and suspend.......other then that you really didnt hear much about him........ thats not enough of a reason to not have him here next season......

I think Porter will be happy with Russell and the new coach.

I see this as a 'good' option (Not the first to say it, but I'll add on...)

3rd rounder and Bryant (Niners) for Moss. Use the first pick on Russell, and keep Bryant, who could be a solid 2nd or 3rd reciever behind Porter and even Curry. I love Moss as a player (most times) but not as a player on the Raiders. He's a baby, with a poor attitude, who's too much of a 'star' to be a 'player'. I say fuck him, get rid of him, and take Lamont Jordan with you.
