thats tha whole point of winning.. you either win it all or you don't! He answered correctly... a good season is winning it all baby! I mean sure a winning record would be nice but the point is to go all the way.. just ask the patriots

Every single NFL team should be talking Super Bowl right now. Whats so surprising about that? If your goal isnt the Super Bowl, why are they playing?
So where are the cats that got on Kitna about his bold predictions? The Niners are thinking playoffs as well.

THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT SAID. LIKE MOST PEOPLE ALREADY SAID IF YOUR GOAL IS NOT THE SUPER BOWL THAN WHY PLAY? SO I DONT SEE WHATS SO FUNNY. I LIKE HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT THE COACH...MUCH DIFFERENT FROM LAST YEAR. THE KEY THING ABOUT THAT INTERVIEW IS THAT BOTH PLAYERS BELIEVE WERE MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. AND THATS ALL YOU CAN HOPE FOR.

Lol kitna said double digit wins, which is actually possible.... The Lions have a potential top 5 offense.... U cant underestimate Mike Martz....

The Niners are arguably the most improved team on paper from a year ago, no impact losses, with huge impact gains, theres actual reason for the "predictions"
Whereas Morrison is pulling shit outta his ass lol, Raiders will be lucky to take 5.. And I Doubt they will win any Division games.......

No they shouldn't. Most teams should be talking about how they're gonna pull some wins out of their asses this year. The only teams that should be talking SuperBowl are the legite contenders (like New England, San Diego, Chicago, New Orleans), not teams that are far from even making the playoffs.

Everyone's playing for the Championship, but it's quite obvious every year that there are certain teams that have no shot at it. Those teams should be concentrating on getting better on the field before they even begin to think about the SuperBowl, much less talk about getting to it.

The Super Bowl should be every teams ultimate goal. Even if a team isnt a contender they should still be working towards that goal. The Raiders, Lions and Browns should all be talking about how they want to win the Super Bowl this year but only amongst themselves and not the media. I was saying he isnt stupid for talking that way but telling the media isnt what he shouldve have done.

Yes, you are correct but if a player said "I hope we get 4-6 wins this year so we dont suck as bad as last year", how would the media and fans take that? Its the same as some guy taking about a house he wants to buy in 5 years. He wants the house and he has no means of buying anytime soon but thats still his ultimate goal.

I agree with Quick... but ain't nothing wrong with talking to the media as well in my opinion. If someone like Kitna makes a bold prediction like he did then it's on his teammates to back him up. Everyone in that Detroit locker room should feel the same as Kitna feels. And the same goes for Morrison and the Raiders. I wouldn't call it talking out of their asses... I would call it being a professional football player with only one goal and that's the SB.

Of course Kirk Morrison has plans for the superbowl, who dosen't? But to say that they haven't got a shot...now that shit's funny. The Raiders got a better shot than quite a few teams, don't believe me, just ask The Ravens. Defense wins championships. Offense makes ESPN.
