ALAMEDA, Calif. (June 15, 2007) -- The Oakland Raiders canceled the final week of their offseason training program after complaints from the NFL players' union about the intensity of the practices.

In a brief statement, coach Lane Kiffin said the players' union believes the Raiders' offseason program violated league rules on practice standards.

"The union has complained about the high level of intensity, player aggressiveness and fast pace of our practices and, as a result, has taken away the final week of our offseason program," said Kiffin, the NFL's youngest and least experienced head coach.

The Raiders won't hold offseason activities scheduled for next week, which were expected to be mostly weightlifting sessions.

Oakland wrapped up a voluntary minicamp June 13 under Kiffin, a former assistant coach at Southern California. He had only one season of NFL training-camp experience as an assistant with Jacksonville in 2000.

The Raiders' training camp will open July 27 in Napa.

I've always typed in a different color than the default siccness fonts. Red was never used on here.. When you see that bold red font you know who it is without looking at the username. It seperates me from everyone else. Plus it happens to be my favorite color, and the color of my favorite team (original color). And I have a button on my keyboard that automatically pastes the color code.

But why does it even matter? I'm not saying anything gang related, I'm not threatening you in any way. This is a damn sports forum. You don't even know if I'm a gangster or not to begin with.

So unless you see me typing out my set and saying I'm going to kill some scraps, you can save that "netbanger" bullshit for someone else who might get offended by a name that contains no merit. First learn the meaning of "netbanger," then try to use it when it actually pertains to the situation or don't bother using it at all. The word has turned into a copout..
