Kilo, the local bounce artist, posted that Tre-8 passed away. I can't find any info, but this is what his status said...

Life is too short! Enjoy every day as if it was your last. Today the music community lost one of the most talented lyricist to ever come out of New Orleans..I LOVE YOU COUSIN! The music community will truly miss you! R.I.P Tre 8

Tre-8 was a foo on those cuts he did wit no limit, I always liked his music I wish I got to hear more of it. Rip Tre-8

RIP Tre-8 from No Limit Records. I had the honor meeting him, while managing an artist that was associated with him in Houston. He was a cool dude, always looking to network and share. He even autographed a couple of CDs I had of his. He died in a car accident in New Orleans.
