Coming from someone who it appears does not even have a true gasp of the English language, you're not saying much, dipshit. The only person on here who should have any qualm with Ronald is 2-0-Sixx, I'm sure that's a bitch how he bullied the Communists into tearing down the Wall.

I never said you couldn't respond to the thread. Point to me where I did. I'd just appreciate it if you didn't lower everyone's IQ in the process.

First reason: Defeat of Soviets.

More reasons tonight.

2-0-Sixx/A1: That's up for debate. However, you can't argue that any President would have had the resolve to match them dollar for dollar in defense, even though it would be commonsense to do so. A communist economy simply can't stand up to a historically strong capitalist giant like ourself.

Sure, the Afghans killed 1.5 million of them. Thats a huge blow to any army. But to cripple an entire economy (especially a giant like the USSR) was arguably bigger.

I don't recall Rippa sayin' anything about Reagan "single handly taken down the Soviets", he simply said "Defeat the Soviets" which is true. He accomplished what 7 other presidents before him could not, stopped and reversed the tide of Communism. There were 3 legs in the "US PLAN" to maintain pressure on the Soviet Union. 1) Support the freedom fighters of Afganistan 2) Support the solidarity in Poland 3) SDI, the Soviets were convinced that we could field a strategic defense and made large scale resource shifts to the military industrial sector to remain competitive in that arena. All of which were costing them billions of dollars. Reagan was the visionary, hence "US PLAN", none of that shit could've happen without us. As far as him being the greatest president, not sure, but I know he's responsible for the fall of the Soviet Union.

Ok, I'm tired of hearing that Reagan defeated communims or the USSR. Please, ANY OF YOU, explain in detail HOW Reagan defeated USSR/Communism.

lol@the Afgani Freedom fighters! You mean, Osama Bin Ladin and the Taliban?

What about Latin American? Anyone care to mention the wonderful things Reagan did down there?
