I know that feeling, last year one of my partnas got killed, and since I'm in a different city I didn't find out about it till later. And how I found out was on this here message board, one dude on here from Tacoma that was homeboys with my homeboy(R.I.P.) posted it on here, that's real fucked up to learn about it on the net. And I couldn't even make it to his funeral.

He was known fa trigga play, grindin and all that, but most of all he was a family man and loved his fam. He most definitely gone be a missed.

Mac, how do you know they were cowards? If someone gets shot 9 times then you know that person may have had to do something. Someone else got popped a few weeks ago too! You are from the town (not sure what part) so you should know why that happened. Now I am not saying that's what he gets but you know it's funk in the town right now. I am not going to put the business on the net but you know and I know!

We from Flooda and so was Demetrius, originally. And I guess it really doesn't matter if they was cowards or not. The issue is that a childhood homey got killed. In East Palo Alto, this type a thing happens on the daily and it's a shame that we haven't learned to see the big picture. I'm pretty sure their will be retaliation and then their could be in a situation like it was in '92.

Your right there must have been a reason, but on the average a black male is killed over petty issues. A crap game, woman, chump change, mean mugs, petty issues that could be resolved in another manner. The streets like any other institution is about power. The problem is in ghettos we neither control or create that power. We are merely pawns to be instructed to react to a system that is unjust. Look at how many homies done died in tha last fifteen years in East Palo Alto, it's sad. All we got is memories of ghosts that used to walk and talk like me and you.

I know I'm ramblin a little bit, but I don't really care if they was cowards or had heart. All I care is that another homie got killed in the struggle.

Only person that can judge him now is GOD!!

Sorry to hear that Mac, my prayers go out to all. That type shit needs to stop. Whatever happened to just seeing someone from the shoulders?
