A man was shot to death this evening east of downtown.

Around 7 p.m., Kansas City police arrived at 13th and Olive streets on a shooting call.

They found the victim lying dead in the intersection, said Capt. Mark Terman of the Kansas City Police Department.

Witnesses told police that they saw a white four-door sedan leaving the scene. The car possibly had a sunroof.
