i remember suave always promoting him on this site, and he had a coo little album drop. just read over at dubcnn that fools broke into his house, shot his mom, then kidnapped him. they found his body later on. rip. head over to dubcnn.com for more info

Jesus this is terrible news. Very sorry to hear that.

Kay 9ine was one of the first people to come thru for me with a song for my compilation. And he did it on the love, courtesy of the homie Suave. I hadn't talked to him in a long time.

I know he was deep in the streets, but what they did to his Mom, that is sad and uncalled for.

I still don't know what to say. Rest In Peace......

talked to a couple people down in Southern Cali, the details on this are still really unknown. most of the people don't even know about it yet, the two people I called didn't even know about it.

i'm hearing different things though, one person said they saw it on the news, they didn't say who it was, but they showed the house, and said that his mom was shot. they have a suspect also, they put up a picture on the news.

i'm also hearing that it might not have been Kay-9ine, but somebody else, and that he's not dead, that he's in a coma.

we'll just have to wait and see.

This is kay9ine manager Suave, we appreciate all the concerns, but 9ine isn't dead, he just came out of coma 3hrs(4p.m.) ago, you no how stories get twisted, but he was jacked for his 2005 Range Rover, kidnapped and was driven to his moms house by the kidnappers and the kidnappers shot his mom in the head and killed his cuzzin that came home from Iraq to burie his sister. Moms is cool but 9ine isn't out the woods yet, I can say he's a pitbull, he'll pull through, he took one to the head and two to the bacc. His cuzzin, Moss Maja is on his way to the hospital to see him. I'll keep you all posted. We really wanna keep the prayers coming in, Billboard from tha Black Wall Street was Kay9ine brotha-in-law and I really don't want to see the family go through this again, so keep your head up.

Once again, we appreciate the concerns.
