to any1 that follows wrestling, chris candido was a semi-big name, altho in recent years he wasnt as well known....he wrestled for eCw, and the wwe (not sure if he was in wCw or not, i think he was but dont quote me), and most recently tna wrestling....he died of a blood clot complication from the knee surgery he just had the other day, and his last televised appearance was today on Impact!, even tho his last televised match was this past sunday at LockDown....he wasnt an austin or a hogan, but no sloutch either, and all the old school eCw heads will remember him quite well....

33 is way too young to die....

RIP Chris Candido

RIP to Candido... that's just crazy. I remember seeing him live as "Skip" with "Rad Radford"... that was Chris Candido and Louie Spicolli, to those who don't know... they're both gone now. It's fucking crazy. For a while in my life, I wanted so badly to be a professional wrestler... I came close to commiting to it, but the training school I was going to start with went out of business.

Anyway, too many have passed.

Road Warrior Hawk
Crash Holly

What I'm trippin' about is that dude was only 33, when to me he looked 40. That's what feds like ECW will do to you though. Look at Sabu. Dude can hardly even stand now due to his knees being so fucked up. Muthafuckas who hate on wrestlers really need to wake up.

is the Ultimate Warrior dead ? I remember that dude, he was the shyt back then.
Hes not dead, just soulless.... hes currently a representative for the state of connecticut...

heres some hijinx that hes been up too the a couple months back...

University of Connecticut students don't like the Warrior much....

The Ultimate Warrior gave a speech infront of University of Connecticut students last night that almost broke out into a riot. Major arguments broke out after many considered Warrior's thoughts to be homophobic and racist.

People started yelling at Warrior as he spoke. Warrior at one point started yelling and stomping his feet, telling everyone to not talk while he is and to ask questions after his speech. Officers were eventually called in to calm things down.

The group that brought Warrior in, the College Republicans, apologized heavily for bringing Warrior in after the speech ended. Statements that really got the crowd upset were when Warrior said "queering don't make the world work" and told an Iranian girl to "get a towel." Warrior also admitted that he used steroids while in wrestling.

And for those who wanted to know about candidos passing, it is a fucked up story as any go...

Hes been out of drug rehab for atleast a year. Then Kid Kash finally got his release from TNA like he wanted but the day before his match leaving open a spot in the PPV. Candido took that spot and ended up breaking his leg in the first couple of minutes of the first minutes of the first match. Candido successfull finished the match ( in a cage btw), did the JOB and was rushed to the hospital. The doctors gave him surgery and ended up puting 90 some odd screws in his broken leg. Instead of staying in the hospital so doctors could keep an eye on his progress Candido left the next day for fear he would have to use pain killers and didnt want to get back on the horse (even if it would have helped).
so far so good right, left the hospital, healed (?) and still drug free, finished the impact tapings on tuesday two days later. thursday he droped dead thanks to a blood clot that formed in his leg that traveled up to his heart or brain (lil fuzzy on that detail)

as bad as it sounds, apparently its rather common.

RIP dude
