From Elgin to Magic to Shaq, and through nine championships, Chick Hearn provided play-by-play for the Lakers' entire 42-year history in Los Angeles. The beloved announcer, who called 3,338 consecutive Lakers games, died Monday at age 85. The Hall of Famer is widely credited with introducing terms such as "slam dunk" and "airball."
