R.A. The Rugged Man's verse on the Jedi Mind Tricks song "Uncommon Valor" is...

one of the HARDEST verses ive EVER heard. he RIPS it. now i know this is old news, but i didnt see very many people talking about it on here. This is what hip hop needs to be...that verse gave me chills the first couple times i heard. he just tells the story perfectly, while ripping the beat. perfect.

Yeah R.A. really let it out on that one. Crazy shit is it's more or less true and told from his fathers perspective while being in Vietnam. R.A. is one of the most slept on MC's in the game. I seriously have never heard him spit wack shit. Sometimes his subject matter is out there but it still sounds dope and his flow/style is really original.

On a side note Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell is dope as fuck from front to back.

ONLY cd he has under the name rugged man,so it better be his tightest, haha
Haha...I was thinking the same thing to myself.

Hey Jake have you ever heard his album as Crustified Dibbs "Night of the Bloody Apes" How is it if you have? I know it came out in 1993 or 1994 so it might sound dated now. I'd love to hear that album though. R.A. is a beast.

If you want to hear a couple really dope R.A. songs dowload "Flipside" and "Till My Heart Stops" off the first Soundbombing album...or just buy the album because the whole thing is dope...whatever.

I don't think I've heard the verse from that song.
I didn't really feel him when I first heard one of his C.D's so I don't really like him, kinda curious about the verse though. Post it up.

it was never released...there is fake ass bootlegs everywhere but not the real deal...only RA has it...peep this from an interview

So how can kids track down Crustified Dibbs, “Night Of The Bloody Apes” albumis that even possible?

RA: They can’t get it! I get emails all the time saying that they got it, but they never did get it. What happened is people put fake bootlegs online, and what they’ll do they’ll pad it with songs that weren’t even on it, like “oh this is Night Of the Bloody Apes” but the original I have the DAT for it, and no one owns it, no one has it, and I get emails all the time like “we’ll give you 2 grand cash” like “shut the fuck up, muthafucka,” ya know, then you could sell it for a lot more than that. Nah, It’s a piece of my history, and a lot of them songs I did in like ’92, ’93, ’94, and they were songs for their time. To me, a lot of the Bloody Apes shit sounds very dated, so I just, ya know, lets move forward, I’m doing better shit now. At the time they were ill records. But I did Stanley Kubrick, the Soundbombing joint tonight, and to me it sounds so dated. I step up my rap game every year, so I just hate doing the old shit. So its like “here let me release this Night Of The Bloody Apes shit that I did songs 12 years ago on, 14 years ago on,” and just ain’t really what I want to do. I want you to hear my new shit, you know?
