There will be no more quarterback controversy in Cleveland this season.

FOXSports.com has learned that Browns quarterback Brady Quinn is done for the year after doctors revealed that the break to his right index finger has gotten worse since he's tried to play through the injury.

Team sources said that Quinn and the team made the decision together earlier today. Sources say that not only has the break in his right index finger worsened, but it is also starting to injure the tendons as well.

Derek Anderson will return as starter. Quinn met with renowned doctor James Andrews and the Browns brought in specialists as well.

A team source said that all agreed that Quinn needed to shut it down before the tendons tore from the bone.

They both suck!! Got Em!!
How are you gonna say Quinn sucks when he's only started... what... 3 games in his whole career

again proving how dumb you are...

I think Quinn is gonna be a good QB in the NFL... he'll be better than Anderson

too bad he got hurt, but at least he got some reps in this year so he can come back ready next season

^ yeah, seriously.

i'm not a brady quinn fan either, but it doesn't mean i think he sucks. i actually think he'll be a pretty good quarterback.

to me, it seems he has the tools to be a good quarterback. he can throw the ball well, and he's pretty mobile...

however, he's still young and he doesn't make the best decisions, but with experience, he'll learn from his mistakes and become a better quarterback.

there isn't really any reason not to think he'll improve, the browns' management has him surrounded quinn with both skill position players(braylon edwards, kellen winslow) and offensive linemen(joe thomas, eric steinbach) that will help him succeed...
