It might count singles, vinyls, etc.
Project: Deadman's album was called Self Inflicted.

fixed, I think their follow up was supposed to be Horrific Thoughts? maybe..

I gave the album 2 listens when it came out and I wasn't feeling it at all

for reference Sickology is SMI-54, Genius is SMI-57, so I think your right about singles

... and MLK is SMI 04 and Vitiligo is SMI 45. Tha's alot of singles, vinyls etc. in 10 months. The earlier Strange releases were filed under MSC Cat#s, the SMI branch didn't start until they moved to Fontana.

SMI 02: Tech N9ne - Everready: The Religion
SMI 04: Tech N9ne - Collabos: Misery Loves Kompany
SMI 44: Tech N9ne - The Psychumentary
SMI 45: Krizz Kaliko - Vitiligo
SMI 46: Grave Plott - The Plott Thickens
SMI 47: Prozak - Tales From the Sick
SMI 48: Tech N9ne - Killer
SMI 49: Skatterman & Snug Brim - Word on tha Streets
SMI 50: Kutt Calhoun - Feature Presentation
SMI 54: Tech N9ne - Collabos: Sickology 101
SMI 57: Krizz Kaliko - Genius
SMI 60: Big Scoob - Monsterifik
SMI 61: Tech N9ne - Strictly Strange
SMI 64: Tech N9ne - K.O.D.

However, I believe there is another label which uses "SMI ##" numbers for their cat#, perhaps the gaps are Strange's choice to prevent confusion with their releases. *Shrugs*

The thing I wonder is why my Everready has a Cat # of "SMI 02 1N02" when it seems several other peoples says "SMI 01"
