quick question regarding totally insane-direct from the backstreets

I'd say the one posted by cobra is not the OG. This is because of the ringcode. I've seen 3 different types of RAINBO ringcodes over the years and the one he's showing is the 2nd type.
The first RAINBO ringcodes which were from about 91 to 94 contained the word RAINBO and always had a date on them like 01/01/92. My version of this Totally Insane cd has this type of ringcode with a date from 92 on it (I can't remember the exact date). The old Sic-Wid-It releases like Click Down & Dirty have ringcodes like this.
From about 94 to 97 (maybe later), RAINBO pressings looked like the one posted by cobra. They still said RAINBO, but in a bigger font, and they did not have a date.
I've seen a 3rd style of RAINBO pressings also. I bought one of these Totally Insane cd's a few years ago brand new and it had the 3rd type of RAINBO ringcode. It is a different type of text and says RBO and has a date on it written like 030306 with no slashes.
I need to dig mine out of the crates to see if it has black or pink writing on it.

I figured you'd ask that. I didn't actually look at my copy to find out the ringcode. I found that ringcode in an old email of mine where I had written the ringcode. And it'll be way too hard for me to find this in my boxes. If I had to guess, I'd say pink. The black just looks funny to me for some reason, but who knows. I have 2 copies, one I believe is the OG release, and one I believe is the 3rd release (as specified in my first post), and I don't remember there being any difference between them other than the ringcode, so they were either both pink or both black. I think I have a scan of the cover at my house so I will take a look at that later and tell ya.
I wonder if there is a version with a different date on the ringcode. As I said earlier, the date on my ringcode is 05/28/92. I know that some of the old RAINBO releases had different dates on them. I've seen different dates on different versions of the Click -Down & Dirty album for instance. So maybe the black version is OG and has an earlier date than 05/28/92. (This is assuming the one I have is pink which I'm pretty sure it is)
sincere explained the whole scenario with this CD before to me in a thread here. The black and red lettering are both legitimate pressings, I'm pretty sure he said the red letter was the first....try the search forum tool...
