its a number given to u by your internet service provider, they would have to hack your isp or be working there. Hope this helps.

any mod and admin got any of our ip's right now..so it dont take much for someone else to get it..

With an ip address you can find out which isp ( local or nation wide ) the person is using, that's about it. Now if authorities have some kind of order to search, they can contact your isp and retrieve whatever personal information is attached to your account such as account holder, address etc. Just grabbing someones ip address of yahoo or something won't get you far.

There is programs a friend I met from school has em.... havent seen him online lately though but that foo can get in the ip and hack there system send in a few troj ya know.
