Quick question: Cost for Car Paint Job

I’m trying to figure out approximately how much a paint job for a two door coupe would cost. How much am I looking at. $350? $500? $1,000? More? I have no clue. Not interested in any custom candy paint, or anything special, just a simple paint job.

u could get a cheap ass one for like 500 , but thats what it is.... a cheap ass paint job.

u could get a cool paint job w/ a clear coat for like 1500

maco aint cheap like what everyone thinks

the ones around here arent at least

cheapest way to go is to primer it your self that cuts alot of cost

maco also charges for color change if you go with a new color

the cheap paint job consists of them just throwing paint on...which is throwing it right over what you already got...where they really kill you is painting door jams under the hood and under the trunk

my boy gos to maco about once a year, he primers his own shit, then handles his own door jams, he just left under the hood and the trunk sanded....so hes gets it for like 250

thats what i mean.do everything put the paint yourself and its cheap as shit.of course its one coat and will chip if you blow on it,but you get what you pay for...........


i suggest for you to primer it your self before you go with ANYBODY..........

How deep are the scratches. Take it to a shop and see if they can buff out some of it.

They're not deep at all, just a lot of them, mainly on the drivers side door. I'm sure I can get some kind of detailing service that isnt too expensive but I also wanted a different color, but oh well.
