I dont know if this has been posted before, but here goes.

Why are there more Skaters / Rockers / Metalheads, etc. in predominately Mexican towns / areas than in 'white' cities or areas? Never understood that. You'd think the opposite.

I know there are huge rock/metal followings in most Latin American countries (shit that would dwarf the US) so that may be it. But I really have no idea.

A had a friend in high school like that, mexican and loved metal. A few of us got him to get into rap but it was a weird transition. He still exhibited rocker ways in terms of metal spikes and gothic type apparel.

In my town there's a lot of weird people... I'm just categorizing them as punk rocks, pardon the limited view point... They wear tight 501's sag past their ass and dress straight up 80's with a wannabe vato twist. I don't know what's up with that style. and some of them listen to old school NWA blapping like crazy
