So I've REALLY been looking forward to this Machida vs. Evans (UFC) fight for a long time now. The problem is a friend of mine is having his bachelor party, in San Jose (Vivid) tonight, and I am going to miss both the Lakers vs. Nuggets game and the fight. I am leaving Modesto at about 7:30 so hopefully we will be in SJ at around 9, which should be in time to watch the main event.

Question is, can anyone tell me what places might be showing the fight? Preferably near Vivid but any suggestions would be cool. Actually if you could even just recommend some places so I can call and check it out it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I moved to Manteca from Fresno in 99' and went back and forth between Mod/Fres/Manteca for a while but I've been here for a good 3 years now.

Perfect! Thats exactly what I needed. I found the Britannia with google but that Temple Bar Lounge is like a half block away; I think thats where I'll be. Have you been to these places? I'm wondering how crowded their gonna be.

Machida is the shit. Most of what I know about him came from what everyone was saying in the Combat Sports forum and he has since become one of my favorite fighters. I've followed him over the past year and this guy is lightning. I can't wait for this to go down!
