i got 2 r&b cds up now at a pretty decent price. ive got some emails from people telling me that the highest bidder isnt gonna pay etc. etc. the high bidder has one positive feedback and the cd he bought was only $5.50. the ebay name is 'saoultrane'. i dont know if the other people are just telling me that so i cancel out his bid cause then theyd be the highest bidders. have any of yall ever dealed with this dude or have any of yall had a rare cd up and people telling you 'this person aint gonna pay' etc. let me know.

yeah that's happening to me right now. This guy owes me over $500 for some auctions I just had on ebay. Two people have emailed me saying that he never pays and are asking me to end a few of the auctions that he's bidding on so I can sell the cds to them. So the best thing to do is relist (or sell it to the people that are emailing you when you know for sure) them if he doesn't pay up and don't let people with little to no feedback bid on your shit anymore.

yea one of the bidders told me to hit up a reputable seller that this bidder did the same thing to. turns out they were right i cancelled his bids. if one of the cds doesnt go as high as it was ill just take it off then relist.

I think you still have to be careful, b/c you will have bidders trying to convince you someone isn't legit so they can get the cd at a lesser price. I have seen those R&B cds reach $800 plus on occasion, so it isn't always best to end them just b/c someone says the high bidder won't pay. I would say just use good judgement. I always want to make the most money as possible but I don't want to get screwed by a high bidder not paying either, so I try to really watch feedback and their bidding history to see if they are legit or too new on ebay to really be reputable.

Thiers a Block list on your ebay preferences, so u can blocc the people that you think arent legit, like people with negatives or no feedback at all, or u can end the auction early...
