The reason i ask is because it seems that some feel that they are on a higher level than the rest what yall think?
If you claim the underground rap scene hit me back......

I'M UNDERGROUND ALL THE WAY AND DON'T LIVE BY THE WAY OF THE MAIN STREAM BUT STILL GET MY MONEY.....

yea i can honestly say that i wouldnt, i think im one of the few people who actually means it when they say they arent in this for the money....the only kind of financial gain i want to make from my music is enough money so i can do this full time and still keep my family comfortable and eating well...
and as far as a big label....id rather stay underground and have a dedicated following then to be some flavor of the month at a major label, it takes someone very special to stay in the spot light for as long as most of us would like too.....but every star fades....
think about it this way....ill use lynch as an example since he is the reason the majority of us are here....Name as many "mainstream" rappers that you may have listened to that have come and gone in the time you have listened to lynch....whatever the number is you will have your answer....cuz chances are that you dont listen to many of them mainstream rappers that are makin all the "benjamins" and that are "bling blingin" but you probably still listen to lynch.....and that is what im tryin to achive.....i wanna be that one scratched up text rubbed off barely playin in your hooptys cd player compact disk, that even when commercial rap fails you and gets stale, you can always go back to and bump just as hard as the day you bought me.....to me thats what this game is all about...i mean ask anyone on this board if they would rather here some ja-rule lost tapes from the early days or would they rather here some lost tapes from lynch....just my nickle and dyme anyways

I got about 15 tracks up on the net, and no 'album' actually out, as of yet......does that answer your question? :cheeky:

"I aint met a n**** yet with more game than me!
You need to check ya shit...because its lame to me!"

Im in this from the ground up....ill lift myself....i aint tryin to catch a lucky break or get 'discovered'...i discovered my mothafuckin self, and thats why you wont see me signin on no dotted line anytime soon...major...indie...whichever...

But then again...I MIGHT would sign to a major for 100% publishing & 50 points on the album with no recoup...it depends on what kinda mood im in

usually gangsta rap falls into the genre of mainstream, say def jam were to offer you a deal, would you say no?... fuck no, you know anyone on here would spit for def jam or interscope or anyother big label for cash
i think this is true.. for MOST people.. in the end its all about the money...
