my question is how is he a legend when he didn't even write his own lyrics? i thought eazy e was da shit when he rapped too but when it says some shit that he had a ghost writer for him i was like daaaam that shit shouldn't count at all...it's like he's rappin from someone elses mind instead of his...i wanna know what was on his mind

im sorry but this is a pretty stupid question.. without Eazy-E there would be no Dre, no Snoop, no Cube, nothing.. they might have cause a lil scene but i doubt it. Eazy created Ruthless Records and launched Gangsta rap, NOBODY was putting out hardcore albums like Ruthless Records.. of course at times someone else had written raps.. shit cube wrote most of the raps for N.W.A. period. And for the most part could u even tell there was a change in Eazy's style? from NWA till fueding with Dre? im pretty sure he wrote more then his share.

yea I think this is a pretty dumb question too. damn right he's a legend, he really hustled to put Cali on the map cuz at the time it was all about NY and Cali wasnt getting any recognition. without his work we wouldnt be where we are today

I think when you look at the big picture, his status as a pioneer is more important than the fact that he didnt write all the lyrics by himself. That kind of stuff was a little more common back then anyway.

Uhhhh..YES!Listen to his verse on BONES album from the song "Foe The Love Of $"....that was one of the worst verses ever written...my god it was gay...When Eazy wrote his own shit it was awful...when he had ghost writers he was filthy...go figure...

Of course he's a fuckin' legend! He couldn't rap worth shit, but he was a pioneer of west coast hip hop. Him and Ice-T are pretty much responsible for the west coast blowin' up the way it did. He gave Cube, Ren and Dre a forum, in which to put west coast gang culture out for the world to see. Peace.

Eazy muthafuckin E. Yes the man was a legend. There's not too much more I can add to what has already been said. This was the man that got me into gangsta shit in the first place. It was all about Eazy E and NWA back in the day.
