QUESTION FOR WRESTLING FANS

MY QUESTION:

WHAT DO PEOPLE SEE IN WRESTLING? THE GAY OUTFITS, IT'S KNOWN TO BE TOTALLY SCRIPTED AND FAKE. I USED TO LIKE IT WHEN I WAS AROUND 8 OR 9. I HAVEN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT IT IN YEARS. NOW, I AM AWARE THAT MILLIONS OF PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE LOVE IT.. BUT WHY?

I'M TRYING TO UNDERSTAND.

why do you go to the movies?, why do you turn on your tv? it's the same thing...if you understand how hard they work in there and the nature of the business then it doesn't matter...if you sit there and watch these guys half naked and say "damn this is pretty gay" then pretty much you're looking too much into it, i have never sat there and thought about anything related to sex when watching it(well maybe melina, trish and micki james)


if these "FAKE" wrestlers make you forget that it's fake then they're doing a better job then most movie stars

Wrestling is fake in the sense that the punches aren't real or really hit hard. Try getting body slammed or running the ropes, you could break a rib if you aren't used to running on the ropes. Believe me, it hurts!

I used to watch back when stone cold and the rock were still around.. but as time went by it got cheesier and cheesier and i lost intrest in it.. but i can answer as if u were asking me then.. its a mixture between the storyline and athleticism... when it had good storylines they would have twists near the ending of each show to bait the viewer to watch the next show to find out what happens... its a soap opera packaged as a competitive sport..

i respect your view i can understand why some people would ask that, and like you said you haven't watched it since the 80's, if you seen a chris beniot or a kurt angle match it might help you understand and respect it more

I was a hardcore fan back in the day but like Troll said it did get cheesier, shit got wack after wwf fired nash and scott hall because nash was hurt and he couldnt wrestle so he was useless in the new wwe nWo and they just let it die, thats when i let WWE die.

Todays wrestling isn't THAT bad, if you watch it a little and watch guys like Edge, Orton, Mr Kennedy, Booker etc you'll see why we still watch it. those guys are fucking hilarious
