Question for those of you that have been to NBA games this season

When I was at the Sac game last week I saw that during the first free throw by the opposing team in each half, they would drop the thunder sticks from the rafters to the fans in the behind the basket section.

Do they do this anywhere else or is it just Sac?

The Thundersticks are given either as you walk in, or are at the seat when you get there.

Oh me either, I'm upper deck only unless I come up on free tickets (which isn't hard to do if your teams been in the lottery three straight years).

I think unfortunately Portland just has quiet, polite fans, and I like to be somewhat rowdy during the game -- but the people around me act like they are at the library so I kind of tone it down....

UNTIL they are giving away free shit folks yell and stand up and shit. So, that's what pisses me off -- you aren't going to stand and yell on the baseline dunk or if the blazers are making a run.....but if some d-bag is shoting tshirts in your general direction from 75 yards away you are all 'bout it for screaming? Fuck that, is what I'm saying. I mean, I'm not above free shit AT ALL.

Ps. I bet its a real bitch getting suns tickets these days huh? I saw them up here and they smoked us 120-99 or something. Raja Bell is real real good, It was a fun game to watch.
