Question for the Pro Tools heads

whattsup with it....I ordered my computer yesterday. I was wondering what I will need to run pro tools....Im getting a brand new G5 Dual 2 ghz processor Power Mac desktop....I have a DIGI 002 (thanks to my boy ant).....do I need any other interfaces.....do i just run the mixers audio out into the soundcard.....this will be my first mac and first time using pro tools.....any help would be coo.....

also where can I get the 6.7 upgrade.....anyone got em on here for a lil discount price....and would the factory bundle from DIGIdesign be a good idea? thanks alot siccness for any help

by the way sound quality is my numba one concern....price does not matter....will the preamps in the DIGI be good enough....I have a Neuman TLM 127 microphone....last question anyone know of any good guides or books that helped you learn pro tools...

This site does not advocate people asking about TORRENT or LIMEWIRE. Depending on when the unit was purchased you could get it for free from digi design. If you pay for the upgrade it's $75. In order to upgrade to 6.7 you need 6.4 is that what you have?

If it was purchased during a certain time and he still has the reciept stating when it was purchased, you can still get upgrades IF you do a transfer of ownership. IF he didnt register the goods, it was purchased during a certain time, all you have to do is register.
