I am currently working with an organization involved in National/International Security at San Diego State University. We have several professors/graduate students and students interested in expressing their views through a Newsletter.

The newsletter will be released once a month, with at least 10,000 circulation at San Diego State. One segment of the Newsletter will probably be a "Tempo" section. This will include articles on movies/music etc. Ive been posting on this board for some time so as so can guess I am a fan of the California underground scene. I have some special privliges and can twist some arms over there and can get some exposure for underground artists.

So my first question is, are any labels/artists/CEO's music stores interested in getting some exposure, and maybe do an interview or something like that? Im not quite sure exactly what the format of the newsletter would be but with 10,000+ circulation it would be a good way to get at a large number of 18-24 yr old people at SDSU.

Secondly, if advertising was affordable, and also a tax deduction, would you be interesting in placing an ad, which would be priced only to put out the newsletter and to gain minimal profits to keep the organization going?

I thought Id post this because I know everyone is looking for good promotion and I feel like this will help anyone looking for sales in the SD Area.

Your questions and comments are welcome so let me know what you think.
