WHAT YA'LL THINK BOUT THA FACT THAT MUSIC CAN BE DOWNLOADED FOR FREE?

I MEAN, TAKE WOODIE FOR EXAMPLE, I CAN GO TO KAZAA, N TYPE IN "WOODIE" AND ALMOST EVERY TRACK BY WOODIE, COMES UP, AND U CAN DOWNLOAD IT.... FOR FREE

AND WHAT I WANT TO KNO IS, WHAT IF U HOMIE WHO AIN'T GOT A LOT OF MONEY, AND U WANNA GET THA MUSIC, BUT U CAN'T AFFORD IT, IS KAZAA, OR LIMEWIRE, BEAR SHARE, ETC. ARE THEY HATERS FOR BEING USER FRIENDLY AND HOOKIN UP A BROTHA WITH THA SAME MUSIC FOR FREE, OR ARE THEY ACTUALLY DOING A FAVOR TO THA MUSIC INDUSTRY....

SHARE YO THOUGHT N OPINIONS, BLOW IT UP

Kazaa and all that in the end hurts independant artists like Woodie, etc. It might be a good way to get the name out, but the odds are someone just downloads and might recommend the music to someone else, but it's not exactly easy to find underground artists, so they're not gonna head out to a store like Rasputin;s to try and cop some shit.

Ja Fool or wack ass 50 Cent can handle people downloading their shit. They're already makin it, otherwise if you wanna take a part in makin sure all this quality bay music thats comin out right now doesn't just get overlooked and eventually fade away, support some local homies go buy the CD.

i think it was A WAX who said, if you gonna steal someones shit, go into the store and steal it like a man, instead of like a bitch on the internet. i agree with that but, when i only like one song by an artist because that's the only good song they got, you best believe i am gonna download that song if i like it, but, an artist who took the time to produce it themselves, and rap on an album, and the shit is dope???????? i don't have a problem buying that. that's why i buy alot of R&b shit, or funk. how you gonna download some classic funk with live instruments? that's robbery if you ask me!

I am a musician and i totaly agree with downloading. as a matter of fact you can download my shit right here http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/5...inmentmusic.htm
I have put alot of money into this shit and i own a $15,000.00 studio. I will also be dropping another $5000.00 on our next album. So it aint like im just some kid using fruity loop beats and a radio shak mic but as a serious artist i understand that charging anything over $10 for a cd is out of controll. We as consumers are tired of paying $18.00 for a cd with 12 songs 4 of wich are recycled. and we as studio owners and artists know there is no need to charge that much. Ask the homie playa rae from D.O.U.G.O.U.T he's sellin a tight duble disc for $10 FTI

i think its coo if u dont overdo it and have nothin but burned cds in your kollection but the harder the music is the harder it is going to be to find on kazaa... so if u want to burn 50 cent or some shit go right ahead they sellouts anyway....but most likely u wont be able to find the majority of local rappers

As far as Im concerned downloading music for free is a good thing. I downloaded a song from NE2 and liked it so much I ran out to get the album.

As for burning albums, I would only burn albums I cant find anymore, that are out of print.

but many people dont see it like this>>>> the people who can get it for free will always dl the shit if he is ug and local or big shit this will always happen.... BUT if prices were much cheaper for cds i bet muthafuckas would cop hella cds instead of dl shit....cd for $9.99 or like 11.99 would be great!
