Would you as a buyer like to see a bay area artist featured on some east coast mix-tapes? For example DJ's like Mick Boogie, Graffiti, Synystr, cats like that who are really doing it on the mix-tape shit....would you support? Do you think it would be a good idea as far as getting a bigger presence worldwide? Your thoughts....

mixtapes make people blow up now a days

look at 50 cent, he blew up from the mixtapes then his cd but the mixtapes got him his contract, same with stat quo, lil flip, and hella others. Mixtapes start careers for rappers, most rappers try to get on any mixtape they can. And if they get on east coast mixtapes the better, since half of east coast heads wouldnt know who they were and be like damn that dude came fucking tight, who is he, where is his cd and that kinda shit, it builds up hype for the rapper. So its good if someoen gets on a mixtape but they gotta come hard or else i think it will hurt they career.

Agreed... 100% fire... If you spit over established beats harder than the next rapper or event the original artist.. Then you deserve a second listen....
