So I have had this netgear wireless router for about a year now, and it always has worked well. Anyways, I moved home, and set it up, and it was working fine....Then all of a sudden, the signal got hella weak, and my computer in the other room connects, but the speed is hella slow, and the computer right next to the router, doesnt even get a full signal. I have the netgear WPN824, one with the blue blinking lights. I have been reading that these things crap out, and people have had the same problems. So I guess I am in the market for a new router.

My questions is, what is the best router out there. I aint really stressin about cost, cuz its so fucking frustrating not having this shit working right. Anycase, I need one that has a good distance, and that has a good speed. Mainly distance is the issue. Ive read about some damn N routers. Are those ones legit? Which brand is a good one to fuck with?

Any knowlege anyone has would be appreciated. Help your boy out.

The N routers are just faster a typical router is 802.11g which I think is 54mbps and b is the older slower version. If you buy an N router than you might need to upgrade your card on the other computers to get the full speed but I think they will still work with 802.11g cards which is probably what you have.
