The sony is better, trust me. It offers a higher resolution at 4.1 MegaPixels and also it has movie mode where you can take movie clips but the nikon does also. But sony has audio in the movie while the nikon doesn't and they give you free VCD software where you can edit the clips and make a VCD and watch it on your dvd player. Also the Nikon is $199.99 and is NOT on sale so it's not in your budget, you'll have to pay 16 bones more of tax. I wonder if the advice we're givin' this kid will be taken, if not what a fuckin' waste of time.
