Question about traffic ticket!!!

I just got a ticket for having my front side windows tinted and I wanna know what my options are. I do not want to get it taken off though. does anyone know how much the ticket is gonna cost? It is not a "fix-it" ticket.

the chp also cited me for no front license plate. how much are those?

I got lucky cause he let me off for speeding but I am pissed about the windows thing.

USUALLY THE FIX-IT'S ARE $10 AND IF YOU OPT TO NOT FIX THEM ITS LIKE $76, BUT THATS UP HERE IN CHICO, I DONT KNOW BOUT THE BAY, BUT USUALLY THATS HOW IT WORKS.......I KNOW HOMIES WHO HAVE LIMO TINT ON THEIR FRONT WINDOWS AND WHAT THEY DO IS GET A SECOND SET OF WINDOW THAT ARE UN-TINTED SO IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS ALL THEY GOT TO DO IS SWAP THEM OUT, AND THEN PUT THE TINTED ONES BACK IN, BUT THATS CONSIDERING THAT THE TICKET IS A FIX-IT, FAR AS I KNOW THAT TICKET IS ABOUT $76, I MEAN BASE IT ON THIS, I WAS HITTIN THE HYDROS ON THE STREETS WHILE MOVIN, AND COP SEEN ME, AND THAT TICKET WAS LIKE $138 OR SOME SHIT LIKE THAT SO......IT SHOULDN'T BE THAT MUCH!

he checked the "non-correctable violation" box. so it is not a fix it ticket. I have a feeling that I will have to pay the fine regardless and it is up to me whether I take the chance and keep it on or not.

I tried asking a cop in frisco but he didnt really seem like he knew what the hell he was talking about.

I heard that if you go to court and ask them to reduce the ticket for the license plate they will. has anyone done this??
